Entrepreneurship Training & Rehabilitation Project for Widowed Women

“Let Us Provide Support… Let Us Empower Women to Become Self-Reliant!”

Tejas Janvikas Sanstha, Jalna is implementing a Women Entrepreneurship Training & Rehabilitation Project through its Women Entrepreneurship Training Centre at Rajur Ganpati, Bhokardan Taluka, Jalna District.

The project aims to support widowed, deserted, economically vulnerable and needy women by providing them with skill-based training, livelihood opportunities, entrepreneurship guidance and the tools required to start sustainable income-generating activities.

We believe that with the right skills, resources, guidance and opportunities, women can build sustainable livelihoods, contribute to their families' financial well-being and lead lives of dignity and independence.

Our Objectives

  • The project focuses on creating a pathway from skill development to sustainable livelihood and economic independence.

Key Objectives

  • To provide skill-based vocational training to widowed and economically vulnerable women
  • To promote self-employment and women-led entrepreneurship
  • To facilitate income-generating opportunities after completion of training
  • To build confidence, financial independence and self-reliance among women
  • To connect beneficiaries with relevant government schemes and livelihood opportunities
  • To provide rural women with locally relevant employment and entrepreneurship opportunities
  • To support women in establishing and strengthening small businesses

  • From Training to Self-Reliance

Our approach goes beyond providing training alone.

Training → Tools → Enterprise → Income → Self-Reliance

The project seeks to provide women with an integrated pathway that includes skill development, access to tools and equipment, entrepreneurship guidance and support for starting income-generating activities.

Where required, trained women can be supported with essential equipment and tools that enable them to convert their newly acquired skills into sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Creating Sustainable Livelihoods

The project aims to create meaningful and long-term change in the lives of women and their families.

Through self-employment and entrepreneurship, women can:

  • Generate their own income
  • Contribute to household financial security
  • Start and grow small businesses
  • Develop marketable skills
  • Gain greater confidence and independence
  • Create additional employment opportunities within their communities
  • Improve the overall socio-economic well-being of their families

Our Impact Approach

We believe that economic empowerment is an important foundation for social empowerment.

By providing women with skills, tools and livelihood opportunities, the project aims to help them move from economic vulnerability towards dignity, independence and sustainable self-reliance.

How You Can Support

Training alone is not always enough to establish a livelihood. Women also require appropriate tools, equipment, raw materials and initial support to turn their skills into income.

Your contribution can help us reach more women and provide them with the resources they need to start their livelihood activities.

Your Support Can Help Provide:

  • Training materials and raw materials
  • Sewing machines and related equipment
  • Beauty parlour equipment
  • Machinery for home-based enterprises
  • Spice and flour processing equipment
  • Aari work, handicraft and embroidery materials
  • Training and capacity-building costs
  • Tools and equipment required to start small businesses
  • Entrepreneurship and business development support

Be a Part of the Transformation

Your support can help a woman acquire a skill, start an enterprise and build a more secure future for her family.

When a woman becomes economically independent, the benefits extend beyond her individual life and contribute to the well-being of her entire family and community.

“Empower One Woman… Transform One Family… Build a Stronger Community.”
